Then, at the second meeting held at Kırklareli Provincial Health Directorate on November 4, 2019, the data on NCDs collected by the Information Processing Center of the Provincial Health Directorate were discussed and it was desided to receive professional service for a preliminary evaluation.

The third meeting was held on 04 December 2019 at TUSEB Kosuyolu Campus, and at this meeting, the preliminary data analyzed by the Doktorclub company were reviewed. The proportions of individuals with prediabetes, diabetes, and normal glucose metabolism in the database in which all 1-year laboratory data of a total of 80,475 individuals were recorded were reported. Approximately, one-fourth of them had diabetes or prediabetes, and the number of patients with diabetes was around 6,000. It was decided to review the creatinine, HbA1c, aminotransferases, other liver enzymes, lipid profile, and thyroid hormone levels of these individuals. In the next step, it was aimed to contact the physicians who followed these patients, to request diagnostic information and anthropometric data, and to compare the patients followed by family physicians or internists in terms of control degrees, complications, and other health risks. In addition, it was recommended to apply for approval of the project by the Ethics Committee of Kırklareli University Faculty of Medicine. It was decided to determine a 1-day prediabetes and diabetes diagnosis and treatment course for physicians following these patients and to hold a patient information meeting as well. The ultimate goals of the project were preventing (or at least delaying) the development of diabetes in individuals with prediabetes and to make this project sustainable for those with diabetes aiming to prevent complications. Within the scope of the same project, it was stated that a diabetes camp could be organize in Luleburgaz to train prediabetic individuals and also to educate existing patients with diabetes.
